Who am I?
Hey, there fellow diabetes warriors!
My name is Tanja Shatanovska. I am 30 years old and I am from Skopje, Macedonia. I have been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes for 24 years. As a matter of fact, my diabetes was discovered on October 16th, 1998. I was only 6 years old at the time. I’m so excited to share my personal journey with you on my blog, Diabetes is my life. Let’s explore the ups and downs of living with diabetes and how we can kick it to the curb to lead a fulfilling and healthy life.

More about Tanja
The right way I can describe myself is as a kind, positive person who wants to share my strength with others. I also want to help them grow and live healthier lives. My life is full of opportunities, and I take advantage of them all. Additionally, I would like to learn new things, travel around the world, and meet new people and cultures. Walking, reading books, and dancing salsa and bachata are other things that I enjoy. I also like to assist others, share my own experience with diabetes and learn from others.
